🎩 How The Madness Began 

 

Like many great stories, The Mad Cookie Jar started with a simple obsession and a messy kitchen.

• The Spark: It all began when I wanted cookies for my daughters 3rd birthday party. I thought to myself it can't be that hard to do. Several hours and many moments of frustration sparked the bug.

• The Addiction: After hours of experimenting with royal icing, new cutters, and a growing collection of food color gels, I was hooked. The meticulous process of cookie decorating quickly became my creative happy place—my escape from the everyday.

• The Launch: With the encouragement of friends and family who couldn't get enough of my sweet creations, I decided to open The Mad Cookie Jar to share my passion for custom-made, uniquely designed cookies with all of you.

💖 More Than Just a Baker

 

When I'm not elbow-deep in flour and icing, you can find me loving my job as a special education teacher, chasing after my own two little ones, bugging my husband to do something else in kitchen for the cookies, or making sure my two dogs don't eat them. I believe that a little bit of playfulness and passion fuels creativity, and that energy goes right into every cookie I make!
